This will be live coding session, and you will learn most if you try and follow along with the code; so please bring your laptops!

State channels are a basic building block for scaling blockchains via off-chain transactions.

Structure of the session:

A test suite and skeleton structure will be provided to you. So you will only need to write solidity smart contracts. A suite of tests will be provided via github as well as the project structure via truffle.

Please make sure you are familiar with basic concepts in Ethereum. If you don't follow everything it is ok, since there will be a git repo that you can follow along with. To follow along you can use https://www.gitkraken.com/ if you are not familiar with git.

Please also make sure you have nodejs (version 8 or higher) and npm installed.
Required preparation:
Familiarity with Solidity: https://cryptozombies.io/

For those who want to do more:
https://www.truffleframework.com/tutorials/pet-shop (this tutorial specifically isn't important, but familiarity with javascript, tests (mocha), and truffle will be very useful to further your understanding.)
